Wesley Meuris
Wesley Meuris is visual artist mainly working with installations, sculptures and drawings. During the last decade, Wesley has been researching different forms of cultural classification systems and their linguistic, social, political and architectural translations. Since 2009, he is researcher at Sint Lucas Antwerpen (KdG), where he defended his PhD dissertation "The Foundation for Exhibiting Art & Knowledge?" in 2017. Since, he has conducted several post-doctoral research projects, recently finishing a two-year project "In the zone of the Science-Fictional" (2022-2024). He supervises several PhDs in the arts and is a tutor both in the Master's and Advanced Master's program.
