Hoda Siahtiri
Hoda Siahtiri is an audio visual performance artist and researcher based in Brussels. Hoda’s work focuses on around grief, memory and ancestral vocal heritage. She is doing a PhD in the arts entitled "Singing The Silences" at Sint Lucas Antwerpen (KdG) / ARIA (University of Antwerp). In this research, she comes to voice through singing nearby her lineage of Bakhtiari women in the west of Iran. Hoda’s creations and ceremonies were shown and shared in different festivals and cultural venues in Belgium and Europe.
