SLARG Research Exhibition presents the work of artists and researchers Garine Gokceyan, Robin Vanbesien, Ayoh Kré Duchâtelet, Brenda Bikoko, Dimitri van den Wittenboer, Irma Foldényi, Reem Silleh & Joachim Ben Yakoub, Karen Vermeren, Sam Vanbelle, Myrthe Bokelmann, Célia Tort Pujol, Lieven Menschaert & Frederik Debleser, Jeroen Bocken, Jonathan Paepens & Sander Van de Vyver.
The exhibition showcases works-in-progress, experiments, and proposals, offering an inside look at SLARG’s one-year, two-year, and PhD research projects. Practice-based research in the arts is a slow, often challenging process, and this exhibition invites you to explore the complexities and ongoing challenges faced by the researchers.
Our researchers will be present and are looking forward to engaging in dialogue with you. Research is an ongoing, collaborative process, and your impressions and feedback are valuable contributions to their journey.
The exhibition will open on Wednesday 28 October at 17:00. It runs from Thursday 29 October till Sunday 1 November, 14:00 - 17:00.
On the opening night, 28 October, you can meet the researchers or join a guided tour (18:00) led by Petra Van Brabandt, head of research at Sint Lucas Antwerpen. Petra will guide you through the various projects on display.
