Grounds opens with its first issue.

This inaugural edition gathers voices working across identity, resistance, care, and memory. Joud Toamah traces Syrian water rituals and fear-soothing bowls. Pierre-Antoine Vettorello reads Black resistance through Senegalese fashion in Paris. Imane B.K. and Tundé Adefioye reflect on building braver spaces in Antwerp. Mona Hedayati uses biosensors to translate migration into sound.

The issue is completed by Robin Vanbesien on collective care and justice, Việt Vũ on censorship and identity in Vietnam, and Bianca Baldi with an allegorical take on racial passing and scientific classification.
